College of Tourism & Hotel Management (COTHM) proudly participated in the Meena Bazar & Job Fair organized by the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, led by Chairman Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, on February 21–22 at Cricket Ground, near Liaqat Chowk, Sabzazar Scheme, Lahore.

COTHM organized an engaging live cooking competition during the event, where a large number of talented female students showcased their culinary skills by preparing a diverse range of dishes. Women from Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan’s constituency also participated enthusiastically in the food display category.

The competition was judged by COTHM’s expert chefs, and winners were announced in a special ceremony attended by Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan. He awarded certificates to the winners and praised the outstanding efforts of COTHM students, proudly acknowledging COTHM as the leading hospitality and tourism college in the country.

The cooking competition was exclusively partnered by Realite Farms, CRealz by ODR Foods, and Nexton. Participants used CRealz products and fresh vegetables sponsored by Realite Farms in their culinary creations. Winners received special gift prizes generously provided by Nexton.

Beyond the cooking competition, Meena Bazar proved to be a remarkable platform for empowerment and employment. Numerous companies set up stalls offering diverse job opportunities for women. Demonstrating its commitment to female employment, COTHM also announced facilitation for 100 job placements specifically for women from Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan’s constituency.

The event highlighted the powerful synergy between education, skills development, and employment opportunities, aligning with the vision of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme to empower Pakistan’s young generation, particularly women.
