COTHM Celebrates World Barbecue Day with Flavor and Festivity

The College of Tourism and Hotel Management (COTHM) celebrated World Barbecue Day with sizzling excitement and smoky flavors as a large number of students participated in a vibrant barbecue competition held on campus.

Demonstrating their culinary creativity and passion, students showcased a diverse range of appetizing barbecue dishes—from classic skewers to fusion-style grills—bringing taste and technique together in a spirited environment. The event highlighted COTHM’s signature approach: enhancing students’ professional skills through joy, pleasure, and taste.

Adding flavor to the occasion, Perfecto Sauces , K&N’s and Haier joined as activity partners. Perfecto elevated the dishes with its rich selection of sauces, while K&N’s provided high-quality chicken, ensuring students had premium ingredients to work with. Their collaboration significantly boosted the energy and appeal of the event.

COTHM’s open-air venue buzzed with activity as both students and staff indulged in the mouth-watering barbecue prepared by participants. It was a wholesome, festive atmosphere where culinary learning met community spirit. The event not only celebrated food but also created a platform for shared happiness and healthy interaction.
