The Walled City of Lahore Authority (WCLA) has partnered with Bacha Party, a leading children’s accessories brand, to promote inclusive tourism by bringing heritage sites to life for young audiences. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the two organizations to create family-friendly, educational, and entertaining experiences at Lahore’s historic landmarks.
This groundbreaking collaboration aims to combine WCLA’s heritage preservation expertise with Bacha Party’s creative approach to engaging children. Through this initiative, interactive activities, heritage-themed festivals, and specially designed educational experiences for kids will be introduced to revitalize Lahore’s cultural spaces.
Tania Qureshi, Director of Media & Marketing at WCLA, shared her excitement about the initiative:
“This collaboration marks a new direction for heritage tourism in Lahore. While we continue to preserve the architectural grandeur of our historic sites, this partnership will ensure that families, especially children, are meaningfully engaged through fun and educational experiences that connect them with their cultural roots.”
The MoU includes plans to host cultural events, child-friendly guided tours, and hands-on learning spaces that turn history into an exciting journey for young visitors. This initiative supports WCLA’s broader vision to foster community engagement and promote sustainable tourism.
