Chef Association of Pakistan (CAP) Hosts General Council Meeting – South Region in Karachi

Karachi, Pakistan – 30th August 2025 – The Chef Association of Pakistan (CAP) convened its General Council Meeting for the South Region at The Wok Hei, Karachi, bringing together leading professionals from the country’s hospitality and culinary sectors. The session was chaired by Mr. Sabir Ahmed, Executive Director of COTHM Karachi.

A special highlight of the gathering was an exclusive session by Master Chef Muhammad Raees, who delivered an insightful talk on the Adoption of Modern Culinary Techniques. He emphasized the importance of innovation in Pakistan’s culinary industry, encouraging chefs to embrace global practices while preserving traditional flavors. His address inspired participants to rethink approaches, improve training, and raise professional standards.

The discussions focused on strengthening collaboration, advancing training and capacity-building programs, promoting Pakistani cuisine globally, enhancing industry standards, and creating practical opportunities for students to learn directly from experts.

CAP also highlighted the significance of membership and certification in maintaining quality benchmarks and aligning training programs with its mission of promoting culinary excellence.
