Pakistan-China Collaboration to Establish Advanced Agricultural Training Labs for Youth Skills Development

Founder and CEO of UNI Services International, Max Ma, has announced the establishment of state-of-the-art Pakistan-China modern agriculture industry-academia integrated vocational training laboratories in Pakistan.

Speaking to APP on the sidelines of the 2nd Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Forum hosted by the Pakistan Embassy in Beijing, he said the facilities will offer hands-on, practical training to students, enabling them to secure employment opportunities in both Pakistani and Chinese agriculture-related industries.

Emphasizing that agriculture is the backbone of Pakistan’s economy, Max Ma said his organization is focused on equipping Pakistani youth with industry-relevant skills to meet the growing needs of the agriculture sector. UNI Services International aims to transform Pakistan’s young population into a skilled workforce capable of supporting modern agricultural development.

He further explained that the initiative will introduce China’s latest advanced agricultural technologies through structured education programs. As an initial step, three-year diploma programs aligned with Pakistan’s education system are being developed in modern agricultural technology, mechanized agriculture, and livestock technologies.

Additionally, UNI Services International has launched a “training of trainers” program to enhance the capacity of Pakistani faculty members in agricultural disciplines. The organization is also promoting collaboration between Chinese higher vocational colleges specializing in agriculture and Pakistani universities to introduce two-year associate degree programs aimed at producing skilled agricultural technicians.

The 2nd TVET Forum brought together senior Pakistani and Chinese officials, leading agricultural TVET institutions, and industry stakeholders from both countries, highlighting the growing cooperation in skills development and agricultural innovation.
