Chocolate Academy Students Gain Real-World Industry Exposure at Chashni Production House

Chocolate Academy Pakistan continues to strengthen its industry-integrated learning approach by providing students with opportunities to experience professional culinary environments beyond the classroom. As part of this initiative, students of Grand Diploma in Chocolate & Patisserie Arts (GDICPA) Batches 15, 16 and 17, along with Certificate in Cake Decoration & Fondant Art (CDFA) Batch 27, visited Chashni Production House for an industrial learning experience.

A total of 27 students participated in the visit, gaining firsthand exposure to the operations of a professional production facility. During their visit, students explored different production departments, including cakes, mithai, breads and baklava, allowing them to observe how various products are prepared, managed and presented within a commercial production environment.

The visit provided students with a practical understanding of production workflows, quality standards, operational coordination and professional workplace practices. Observing these processes in a real industry setting helped students connect the technical knowledge gained through their academic training with the demands of commercial culinary production.

Students also had the opportunity to interact with industry professionals, exchange perspectives and learn about the practical challenges and opportunities associated with working in a professional production environment. Such interactions can help students develop greater professional awareness while gaining a clearer understanding of industry expectations.

Chocolate Academy Pakistan places emphasis on experiential learning as an important component of professional culinary education. Industry visits expose students to different production models, encourage professional confidence and provide insights into potential career and entrepreneurial pathways within the expanding culinary and food production sector.

The initiative also supports the broader objectives of Sustainable Development Goal 4, Quality Education, and Sustainable Development Goal 8, Decent Work and Economic Growth, by connecting education with practical skills, employability and professional development.

Through initiatives such as industrial visits, Chocolate Academy Pakistan continues to create learning experiences that complement classroom and practical training, helping students develop a broader understanding of Pakistan’s evolving culinary industry and prepare for future professional opportunities.
