COTHM Selects 10 Candidates for Paid Internship Programme at Five-Star Hotels in Bangkok

The Department of Employability & Career Services (DECS), in collaboration with the ICC Department at COTHM Pakistan, has selected 10 candidates for a one-year paid internship programme at five-star hotels in Bangkok, Thailand.

The initiative involved candidate identification, shortlisting and preparation to help students pursue international hospitality experience. A dedicated training session was held in the campus seminar room, followed by interviews the next day.

All 10 candidates who participated in the interview process were selected. The process has now moved to the next stage, with offer letters and visa arrangements underway.

The programme aims to connect students with international hospitality opportunities while helping them prepare for the professional expectations of five-star hotel environments. The training session provided a preparatory step before the interviews, supporting candidates as they progressed through the selection process.

The collaboration between DECS and the ICC Department reflects the importance of coordination between student services, training and international career pathways. Such initiatives can help students gain exposure to global hospitality standards, workplace practices and the demands of an international hotel environment.

A one-year paid internship in Bangkok offers the selected candidates an opportunity to build professional experience in an international setting. Their final placement will proceed through the relevant offer-letter and visa processes.

The selection of all 10 interviewed candidates marks an important milestone in the initiative, as COTHM continues to support students in pursuing career development and international opportunities in the hospitality sector.
