Founder/President CAP Ahmad Shafiq Departs for China to Represent Pakistan at Worldchefs Asia Presidents Forum 2025

Founder and President of the Chefs’ Association of Pakistan (CAP) and College of Tourism & Hotel Management (COTHM), Ahmad Shafiq, has departed for Suzhou, China, to represent Pakistan at the Worldchefs Asia Presidents Forum 2025—one of Asia’s most prestigious culinary gatherings.

The event, held from October 15–19, brings together presidents of chefs’ associations, top restaurateurs, and culinary masters to discuss global food trends, professional standards, and future collaborations. Co-located with the 34th China Chefs Festival, the forum features the World Gourmet Cities Forum, the Chinese Culinary Masters Hall of Fame Induction, and the Chinese Cuisine Global Expansion Forum.

Speaking before his departure, Ahmad Shafiq said, “By skill and solidarity, Pakistan is able to stand with the world,” emphasizing the nation’s growing culinary talent and international recognition. The event also includes an International Cooking Competition and the 2025 Western Cuisine Cooking Skills Competition (October 17–19), showcasing global culinary innovation.

Under Ahmad Shafiq’s leadership, CAP has elevated Pakistan’s culinary standards through international partnerships, global certifications, and national competitions like the Pakistan International Culinary Championship (PICC). His participation highlights Pakistan’s expanding role in global gastronomy and commitment to culinary excellence.
