Chefs Association of Pakistan Membership Ceremony, Special Participation of Worldchefs Vice President Dr. Rick Stephen

The ceremony began with the recitation of the Holy Quran. Dr. Rick Stephen, Vice President of Worldchefs & Mel Nathan, Founder of the Executive Chefs Club Australia & Publishing Editor of Food Companion Magazine, also addressed the gathering. At the same time, Chef Raees shared valuable and practical advice with the students.

 On this occasion, Worldchefs Vice President Dr. Rick Stephen participated as a special guest and also presented a cooking demonstration with COTHM students, which the participants highly appreciated.

Mr. Ahmad Shafiq, President of the Chefs Association of Pakistan and Founder & CEO of COTHM, delivered a keynote address to the participants.

During the ceremony, it was also announced that November 20 will be celebrated every year as “Pakistani Cuisine Day.” The performances of teams from Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, and Malaysia were also recognized.

The rule book for the Pakistan International Culinary Championship (PICC) 2026 was also launched. As part of the membership ceremony, all members took their oaths, while an Iranian delegation was awarded honorary membership, recognizing their contribution and presence at the event.

In addition, professional certifications and certificates were distributed among the students and chefs, highlighting their skills, achievements, and commitment to excellence in the culinary field.

The Vice Presidents of Worldchefs also shared their views, paying tribute to the efforts of the Pakistani chef community. The chief guest, Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, leader of PML-N, in his address, said that Pakistani chefs are making the country proud around the world, and their efforts are a valuable contribution to national prestige.

This magnificent event proved to be a milestone in highlighting the role and skills of Pakistani chefs not only at the national but also at the international level.
