COTHM and MANTAQ Collaborate to Launch Student-Led Sustainable Business Model at Metro & Orange Line Terminals

Lahore, August 4, 2025 – A significant step toward empowering young entrepreneurs and promoting sustainable business models was taken today as the College of Tourism & Hotel Management (COTHM) and MANTAQ Services Pvt. Ltd signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

Under this collaboration, both institutions aim to provide COTHM students with practical, real-world business opportunities. MANTAQ will facilitate the provision of locations at the Metro Bus Canal Station and Orange Line Terminals. At the same time, COTHM will initiate pilot projects featuring food and hospitality businesses entirely managed by its students.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Ahmad Shafiq, Founder/President & CEO of COTHM, highlighted the importance of experiential learning for students and said, “This partnership is a vital step toward preparing our students for the professional world while promoting entrepreneurship.”

Miss Aisha Nawaz Chaudhary, CEO of MANTAQ, added, “We are proud to collaborate with COTHM to create an ecosystem where education meets real-world execution, leading to impactful and scalable business models.”

The MoU outlines responsibilities, confidentiality terms, and a one-year pilot phase with the potential for extended collaboration. It marks a commitment to shared growth, youth empowerment, and community-oriented entrepreneurship.
