The College of Tourism and Hotel Management (COTHM) today hosted a spectacular Azadi Festival 2025, celebrating Pakistan’s independence in grand style. The event was attended by students, faculty members, and distinguished guests, creating an atmosphere filled with patriotism, culture, and joy.

The celebration began with a plantation drive, symbolizing growth, sustainability, and the commitment to a greener Pakistan. Participants enthusiastically planted saplings, expressing their dedication to environmental preservation.

A stage performance segment followed, featuring cultural skits, traditional dances, and patriotic songs. Students showcased their talent and creativity, leaving the audience inspired and entertained.

The national flag unveiling was one of the most emotional moments of the day. As the flag was revealed, the crowd erupted in cheers, expressing their love and respect for the homeland.

A painting competition allowed students to display their artistic skills, with powerful artworks reflecting themes of independence, unity, and national pride.

For recreation, fun activities such as games, quizzes, and interactive sessions engaged both students and faculty, adding an element of lighthearted enjoyment to the day.

Food lovers enjoyed stalls offering traditional Pakistani cuisine, featuring an array of regional flavors that delighted the taste buds. Attendees also admired handicraft displays and student-made creations inspired by national themes.

The festivities concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony to mark Independence Day, symbolizing unity and celebration.

Speakers at the event highlighted the significance of Pakistan’s independence, underscoring the values of unity, hard work, and sacrifice, and urged the youth to play an active role in the nation’s development.

COTHM’s management expressed gratitude to the participants and reaffirmed their commitment to organizing future programs that promote Pakistan’s positive image and national harmony.

The success of Azadi Festival 2025 was further enhanced through the valuable support of our activity partners — Gobi’s Paints and Falala Di Cream. Gobi’s Paints played a key role in the vibrant and creative expression of the painting competition, while Falala Di Cream added a delightful flavor to the festivities, ensuring guests enjoyed a truly sweet celebration. COTHM extends heartfelt appreciation to both partners for their contribution in making the event memorable.
