COTHM Unveils Landmark Event: Pakistan NextGen Hospitality Challenge 2025

Lahore, Pakistan – The College of Tourism and Hotel Management (COTHM) is set to host the Pakistan NextGen Hospitality Challenge 2025 (PNHC) — a historic, first-of-its-kind national inter-campus competition designed to elevate the standards of hospitality education in the country.

Taking place from September 1 to 3, 2025, at COTHM’s Head Office in Garden Town, Lahore, PNHC 2025 will bring together the brightest hospitality students from across Pakistan for three days of intensive, industry-aligned challenges. Under the central theme of “Innovation, Sustainability, and Strategic Impact in Hospitality,” the competition aims to simulate real-world hospitality dynamics and develop industry-ready professionals.

This flagship event will bring together top hospitality students from COTHM campuses nationwide to compete across diverse categories, including:

  • Front Office Management

  • Food & Beverage / Restaurant Service

  • Sales & Marketing Management

  • Innovation & Entrepreneurship

  • Strategic Thinking in Hospitality

  • Tourist Destination Management

  • City Documentary Production

  • Hospitality Roleplay Showcase (optional)

Participants will compete across a broad spectrum of categories, including Front Office Management, Food & Beverage/Restaurant Service, Innovation & Entrepreneurship, Sales & Marketing, Strategic Thinking, and Tourist Destination Management. The event will also feature creative components such as a city documentary challenge and a hospitality roleplay showcase.
