Founder/President CAP Ahmad Shafiq Represents Pakistan at Worldchefs Asia Presidents Forum 2025 in Suzhou

Founder and President of the Chefs’ Association of Pakistan (CAP), Ahmad Shafiq, is representing Pakistan at the Worldchefs Asia Presidents Forum 2025, being held in Suzhou, China. The prestigious event brings together presidents of national chefs’ associations, top restaurateurs, and culinary masters from across Asia to discuss the latest developments in gastronomy, culinary education, and global collaboration.

Running from October 15 to 19, 2025, the Asia Presidents Forum serves as a key initiative of the World Association of Chefs’ Societies (Worldchefs), providing a platform for dialogue, partnership, and professional growth among Asia’s leading culinary institutions. The forum features a diverse range of activities, including leadership discussions, industry networking sessions, culinary showcases, and cross-cultural exchange programs, all aimed at promoting skill development and innovation within the global culinary landscape.

This year’s forum is being held alongside the 34th China Chefs Festival, one of Asia’s most celebrated culinary events. The festival includes the World Gourmet Cities Forum, the Chinese Culinary Masters Hall of Fame Induction, and the Chinese Cuisine Global Expansion Forum, each highlighting excellence and advancement in the culinary arts.

A major highlight of the event is the International Cooking Competition, where chefs from various nations display their creativity and mastery in a global arena. Running concurrently, the 2025 Western Cuisine Cooking Skills Competition—from October 17 to 19—features rounds in Western-style set meals, buffet styling, and bread baking, offering a dynamic showcase of culinary artistry and technical expertise.

Ahmad Shafiq’s participation underscores Pakistan’s growing engagement with the international culinary community. Under his leadership, the Chefs’ Association of Pakistan has worked to elevate professional standards, host Worldchefs-recognized seminars, and organize international-level competitions such as the Pakistan International Culinary Championship (PICC). These efforts continue to strengthen Pakistan’s culinary profile and open global opportunities for Pakistani chefs to learn, compete, and collaborate at the highest level.
