College of Tourism & Hotel Management (COTHM) has once again showcased its pioneering role in hospitality and tourism education during the Pakistan NextGen Hospitality Challenge 2025, held at the historic Faletti’s Hotel, Lahore.

Welcoming students, mentors, and global leaders, Ahmad Shafiq, Founder/President & CEO of COTHM Pakistan and COTHM Global – UK, inspired participants with his powerful words:
“Love, passion, hospitality, and management lie in our genes. COTHM took the responsibility to uplift young talent and has been fulfilling this pledge since 2002. Today, the presence of Dr. Rick Stephen and Mel Nathan proves that the world acknowledges Pakistan’s contribution to this industry.”

The event brought together vibrant teams from across Pakistan, representing multiple COTHM campuses, who competed in categories ranging from Front Office Management and Food & Beverage to Innovation & Entrepreneurship, Sales & Marketing Management, and Tourist Destination Management.

International hospitality leaders, including Dr. Rick Stephen, Vice President of Worldchefs, and Mel Nathan, Founder of Executive Chefs Club, Australia, joined the opening ceremony, highlighting Pakistan’s growing global recognition in the world of hospitality.

The Challenge not only highlighted the competitive spirit of students but also reflected COTHM’s mission of bridging academia with industry. With its legacy of empowering youth since 2002, COTHM continues to set benchmarks for Pakistan’s hospitality education, preparing the next generation to take their place on the international stage.
