College of Tourism & Hotel Management (COTHM) marked a new milestone in its journey of excellence by inaugurating its latest, state-of-the-art campus in DHA Lahore. The inauguration ceremony was graced by Sardar Yasir Ilyas Khan, National Coordinator to the Prime Minister on Tourism and CEO of Centaurus Group, who joined as the Chief Guest and cut the ribbon to formally open the facility.
The new DHA campus has been designed to match international standards of hospitality and culinary education. It features advanced hot and cold kitchens, a spacious auditorium, an Executive Dining Lounge, Fika Café, and a world-class Chocolate Academy branch. On the occasion, the Academy of Languages by F+U International, Germany was also inaugurated, further strengthening COTHM’s global footprint.
Welcoming the Chief Guest and distinguished attendees, COTHM Pakistan & COTHM Global-UK Founder/President & CEO Ahmad Shafiq led the round of the facility. He expressed his pride in offering a futuristic campus that will provide students with opportunities on par with leading international institutions.
Speaking to the media, Sardar Yasir Ilyas Khan praised COTHM’s commitment to skilling the youth of Pakistan:
“COTHM is leading by example in preparing the next generation with world-class skills. I assure my full support to initiatives like these that empower our youth and create new avenues for the tourism and hospitality sector.”
The event was also attended by Senator Bushra Anjum Butt as Guest of Honour, along with an international delegation from F+U Group, Germany, including President Hans-Dieter Sauer, Cathrin Jongen (Head of International Recruiting), and Waseem Butt, Member of City Parliament, Heidelberg.
Prominent industry leaders and dignitaries also graced the occasion, including AirSial Chairman Fazal Jilani, COTHM Multan Executive Director Waqas Raza, KnN’s Multinational & Central Sales Head Syed Mughees A. Pirzada, Yum Group Executive Director Nisar Chaudhry, Sumo/Mandarin CEO Masood Ali Khan, Ambassador Commercial Kitchen Equipment CEO Ali Mahmood, and Cheezious CEO Imran Ijaz.
While speaking at the event, Ahmad Shafiq emphasized that COTHM DHA represents a vision of excellence:
