COTHM Lahore had the honor of welcoming Ms. Syeda Hajra Sohail, Chief Executive Officer of the Punjab Educational Endowment Fund (PEEF). The visit highlighted the strong partnership between COTHM and PAK-EEF-NEST, which has awarded scholarships to COTHM students, empowering them to pursue excellence in culinary arts and hospitality education.
PEEF, a flagship initiative of the Government of the Punjab, is dedicated to uplifting talented yet financially disadvantaged students by providing merit- and need-based scholarships for quality education. Its mission to foster equal educational opportunities across Pakistan aligns strongly with COTHM’s vision of shaping future leaders in the food, tourism, and hospitality sectors.
During her visit, Ms. Hajra Sohail met with Mr. Ahmad Shafiq, Founder/President and CEO of COTHM, and Ms. Zainab Shafiq, CEO of the Chocolate Academy. The leaders discussed potential avenues for future synergy to further empower youth through skills development and career opportunities.
Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Hajra Sohail appreciated COTHM’s contributions to professional education and emphasized the importance of public-private partnerships in ensuring accessible, quality learning for students.
