A distinguished delegation comprising Mr. Salman Maqsood, Managing Director of KIPS, his son Ammar Salman Malik, Farooq Ahmad Khan Maneka, a renowned Pakistani politician, and Maj. Gen. Ali Abbas (Managing Director, CSD Shopping Malls) visited the College of Tourism and Hotel Management (COTHM). They were warmly received by the Founder, President, and CEO, Ahmad Shafiq.
During the visit, the guests were given an extensive tour of the campus, where COTHM’s culinary students showcased their international-level skills through a live demonstration, leaving the visitors deeply impressed. Ahmad Shafiq remarked on the occasion, “COTHM is shaping a generation that will redefine Pakistan’s hospitality and tourism industry with skill, confidence, and professionalism.”
The delegation also explored the COTHM Library, which they praised for its vast and high-quality collection, calling it an international-standard academic resource center.
They then visited the Chocolate Academy, where CEO Zainab Ahmad Shafiq briefed the guests on the successful expansion of the academy to seven branches across Pakistan, reflecting her commitment to professional excellence and innovation in chocolate craftsmanship.
The visit concluded at FIKA Café, operated by Zainab Ahmad Shafiq, where the guests commended her creativity, leadership, and entrepreneurial vision at such a young age.
In recognition of their visit and encouragement, commemorative shields were presented to Mr. Salman Maqsood, Farooq Ahmad Khan Maneka, and Maj. Gen. Ali Abbas as tokens of appreciation.
