PTDC Announced as Official Tourism Partner for FIDIC Asia Pacific Mid-Year Conference in Pakistan

The Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) has been officially designated as the Tourism Partner for the FIDIC Asia Pacific Mid-Year Conference, set to take place from July 15 to 17, 2025, in Islamabad. The high-profile international event will bring together key figures from the engineering and infrastructure sectors across the Asia-Pacific region.

Organized by the Association of Consulting Engineers Pakistan (ACEP) under the umbrella of FIDIC Asia Pacific, the three-day conference will host senior representatives from leading global consulting firms, multilateral development banks such as the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the World Bank, as well as regional policymakers and stakeholders.

As the Official Tourism Partner, PTDC will play a vital role in showcasing Pakistan’s rich cultural heritage, diverse tourism offerings, and investment potential to an international audience. Through this strategic collaboration, Pakistan aims to position itself as a premier destination for tourism, economic engagement, and sustainable development.

“We are honored to be partnering with FIDIC Asia Pacific and ACEP for this important event,” said a PTDC spokesperson. “This partnership not only reflects the growing global interest in Pakistan’s tourism potential but also reaffirms our commitment to facilitating international dialogue through cultural and economic exchange.”

During the conference, PTDC will offer curated tourism experiences and destination insights for visiting delegates. These include opportunities to explore Pakistan’s breathtaking landscapes, historical landmarks, and vibrant hospitality sector.

The conference is expected to serve as a key platform for enhancing Pakistan’s visibility on the global tourism map while fostering cross-sectoral collaboration and sustainable development initiatives.
