In a landmark moment for hospitality education in the region, the College of Tourism and Hotel Management (COTHM) South Punjab celebrated the grand inauguration of its Center of Excellence in Multan. This state-of-the-art facility represents a bold step forward in COTHM’s mission to deliver world-class, skill-based education aligned with global standards in tourism, hospitality, and culinary arts.
The prestigious event brought together distinguished guests, industry leaders, faculty members, and aspiring students, symbolizing the beginning of a transformative chapter in hospitality education for South Punjab.
Guests were warmly received by Executive Director COTHM South Punjab, Mr. Muhammad Waqas Raza, along with faculty and enthusiastic students. The ceremony featured a red-carpet welcome, traditional hospitality, and captivating cultural performances—showcasing the vibrant spirit of South Punjab.
The chief guests included Commissioner Multan Division, Mr. Aamir Karim Khan, and Founder, President & CEO of COTHM Global UK, Mr. Ahmad Shafiq. Commissioner Aamir Karim Khan had the honor of officially inaugurating the new Center of Excellence, symbolizing COTHM South Punjab’s commitment to raising educational standards in the region.
While addressing the audience, Mr. Ahmad Shafiq, Founder, President, and CEO of COTHM, stated,

He further added, “COTHM has always empowered young talent and connected them to the global world.”
Executive Director of COTHM South Punjab, Mr. Muhammad Waqas Raza, while addressing the students, said,
