The College of Tourism and Hotel Management (COTHM) celebrated International Tea Day with great enthusiasm and cultural vibrancy. A large number of students participated in the activity, showcasing various modern and traditional tea-serving styles accompanied by regional and contemporary snacks.
The event was made possible with the generous support of Qamar Tea, Haleeb Milk, and Ambassador, who partnered with COTHM to bring this celebration to life. Their collaboration highlighted the vital role of public-private partnerships in promoting culinary education and cultural engagement.
The activity concluded with an engaging gift and certificate distribution ceremony. Representatives from Qamar Tea, Haleeb Milk, and Ambassador presented tokens of appreciation to students and COTHM’s management for their active involvement. A major highlight of the event was a lucky draw, where one fortunate student won a commercial tea boiler sponsored by Ambassador.
The students expressed heartfelt gratitude to all the activity partners for their valuable gifts and unwavering support. Events like these not only celebrate the love for tea—a staple of Pakistani culture—but also offer students hands-on experience in event planning and hospitality presentation.
COTHM continues to lead the way in delivering innovative and experiential learning opportunities that blend education with culture and industry collaboration.
