Style Walk: COTHM Students Step into the Corporate World

The COTHM Job Readiness Program concluded with an engaging and confidence-building Corporate Style Walk Activity, giving students an opportunity to put professional appearance, body language, confidence, and workplace presence into practice.

As the final activity of the six-day program, students stepped into a simulated corporate environment dressed in formal professional attire. The activity focused on essential elements of professional presentation, including appropriate grooming, posture, walking style, confidence, and overall workplace appearance.

The Corporate Style Walk was designed to help students understand that professional success extends beyond technical knowledge and qualifications. The way individuals present themselves, communicate confidence, and carry themselves in a professional environment can play an important role in creating a strong first impression.

Through this interactive activity, students practiced maintaining confident posture, professional movement, and a composed presence while experiencing the expectations of a corporate workplace.

The activity also encouraged students to recognize the importance of personal presentation during job interviews, workplace interactions, meetings, and other professional situations. By combining practical exercises with confidence-building activities, the program helped students develop skills that can support them as they transition from education into employment.

The Corporate Style Walk provided a memorable conclusion to the Job Readiness Program, bringing together the key message of the initiative: being career-ready means being skilled, confident, professional, and prepared to make a positive impression.

The final day celebrated the students’ progress while reinforcing the importance of professionalism, self-confidence, and workplace readiness.

From skills to confidence, COTHM continues to prepare students to step into the professional world with purpose and presence.
