COTHM Pakistan hosted an engaging Recruitment Drive to connect students and emerging hospitality professionals with potential career opportunities and provide them with greater exposure to the professional workplace.
The recruitment drive reflected COTHM’s continued focus on employability, career development, and industry engagement, giving students an opportunity to interact with recruiters and gain a better understanding of professional expectations.

The event brought together COTHM students and industry representatives in an environment focused on career opportunities, professional interaction, and talent development. Students had the opportunity to present their qualifications, communicate their skills, and learn more about the expectations of employers within the hospitality and related sectors.
The recruitment drive also provided students with valuable insight into the recruitment process. Interacting directly with industry professionals enabled participants to better understand how employers assess candidates, what skills are valued in the workplace, and how students can prepare themselves for successful careers.

COTHM’s emphasis on practical and industry-oriented education was reflected throughout the event. Alongside academic knowledge, students were encouraged to develop communication skills, professional confidence, workplace awareness, and other competencies that can support their transition from education to employment.
The event was also an important platform for identifying emerging talent. Through direct interaction between students and industry professionals, employers were able to engage with young professionals who are developing their expertise through COTHM’s career-focused educational programs.

The Department of Employability & Career Services (DECS) at COTHM plays an important role in creating connections between students and the industry. Initiatives such as recruitment drives help strengthen these connections and provide students with practical opportunities to explore their career options.
For participating students, the recruitment drive offered more than an opportunity to seek employment. It provided a platform to build confidence, practice professional communication, understand industry expectations, and take meaningful steps toward their career goals.

COTHM Pakistan continues to strengthen its engagement with the hospitality and service industries by creating opportunities that connect education with employment. Through industry interaction, career support, practical training, and professional development, COTHM aims to help students become skilled and workplace-ready professionals.
The successful recruitment drive further highlighted the importance of industry-academia collaboration in developing the next generation of hospitality professionals. By bringing students and employers together, COTHM continues to create pathways that support career growth and strengthen the connection between professional education and the evolving needs of the industry.
