The Civil Aviation Authority’s CAA new travel advisory for domestic and international flights has been updated. As per details, the authority has repealed the mandatory requirement to wear face masks, according to new rules.
“Wearing face masks on domestic and international flights is no longer mandatory, but it is still preferable,” CAA new travel advisory stated in a tweet shared on its official Twitter account.

The change comes after the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) lifted the requirement to wear face masks.

“Amid the country’s declining COVID-19 trend, mask-wearing as part of non-pharmaceutical interventions is no longer a mandatory requirement during domestic and international travel; however, it is still preferable,” NCOC stated in a notification.
