COTHM Celebrates International Tea Day with Industry Collaboration and Cultural Spirit

College of Tourism & Hotel Management (COTHM) celebrated International Tea Day with great enthusiasm through an engaging and vibrant event that brought together students, hospitality professionals, culinary experts, and tea enthusiasts under one roof.

A large number of students actively participated in the celebration, making the event a lively showcase of creativity, hospitality culture, and experiential learning. The major highlight of the event was an extraordinary live tea-making demonstration by renowned recipe expert Chef Ejaz, who successfully prepared 20 different varieties of tea within a remarkably short time, astonishing both students and guests.

The celebration combined tea culture, culinary creativity, entertainment, and learning, creating a memorable experience for participants. Students enjoyed interactive activities, live presentations, and cultural engagement that reflected the growing importance of beverage arts and hospitality innovation within the industry.

Several hospitality and culinary industry professionals attended the event as judges and highly appreciated COTHM’s initiative to bridge the gap between academia and industry through meaningful educational celebrations. They praised the institution’s commitment to promoting student learning, confidence building, creativity, and mental growth through participation in international events and practical experiences.

The event was further elevated through the support of activity partners including Cake O Clock, Chaye Qawali, Ahmad Tea London, and Mary Gold Bread, who distributed gifts and appreciation tokens among students, adding value and excitement to the celebration while encouraging young talent.
