COTHM Job Readiness Programme Day 5 Focuses on Fun, Well-being and Future Planning

COTHM Pakistan continued its Job Readiness Programme with an engaging Day 5 session titled “Having Fun… What About Your Future?”, featuring Dr. Naila Arshad, Consultant Clinical Psychologist, as the guest speaker.

The session aimed to encourage students to reflect on their future goals while understanding the importance of personal well-being, responsible choices and planning for professional life. Through the theme, participants were encouraged to consider how present-day decisions, personal habits and priorities can influence their long-term aspirations.

The session also highlighted the value of self-awareness and a balanced approach to life as students prepare to enter the workplace. Developing a clearer sense of direction, setting realistic goals and making thoughtful decisions can help young people navigate the transition from education to employment.

As part of COTHM’s career-readiness efforts, the session complemented the programme’s broader focus on preparing students for professional responsibilities beyond technical skills. Personal development, confidence and informed future planning are important elements in helping learners build sustainable careers in hospitality and related industries.

Through initiatives like the Job Readiness Programme, COTHM Pakistan continues to support students in developing the personal and professional capabilities needed to pursue their future goals.
