Students of College of Tourism & Hotel Management (COTHM) Johar Town participated in an educational industrial visit to the K&N’s processing plant to gain practical insights into modern food production systems, quality assurance, and professional industry operations.

The visit was organized to help culinary students better understand how leading food brands maintain international hygiene standards, manage operational challenges, and ensure consistency in food safety and production quality within a highly professional environment.

During the tour, students closely observed various stages of food processing, packaging, quality control, and hygiene management practices implemented at the facility. Industry professionals also shared valuable information regarding brand development strategies, operational efficiency, and the importance of maintaining customer trust in the competitive food industry.

The experience provided students with meaningful exposure to real-world industrial operations and enabled them to connect classroom concepts with practical industry practices. Faculty members emphasized that such visits play an important role in preparing students for future careers in culinary arts, hospitality, and food production management.

Students appreciated the opportunity to learn directly from industry experts and gain firsthand understanding of the discipline, teamwork, and operational standards required within the professional food sector.
