Her Excellency Ms. Ina Lepel, Ambassador of Germany to Pakistan, visited Chocolate Academy Pakistan in Lahore and praised the creativity, professional skills, and dedication demonstrated by its students.
The academy’s management warmly welcomed the distinguished guest and presented its vision of empowering young people through practical, career-focused education. During the visit, students showcased their chocolate art, cake designs, and handmade creations, demonstrating creativity, precision, and professional training.

The Ambassador appreciated the students’ work and highlighted the importance of vocational education in preparing young people for the demands of today’s global workforce. She also commended the academy’s contribution to SDG 4: Quality Education by promoting practical, skill-based learning.
Ms. Zainab Shafiq, CEO Chocolate Academy Pakistan, and Mr. Ahmad Shafiq, CEO COTHM, also shared the institution’s vision of creating employment and entrepreneurial opportunities for young people. Mr. Ahmad Shafiq emphasized the role of professional training in aligning Pakistan’s hospitality education with international standards and supporting SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth.

During the visit, students interacted with the Ambassador and shared their learning experiences. Their confidence and professional communication further reflected the academy’s emphasis on practical training.
Ms. Ina Lepel also appreciated the participation of female students, recognizing their involvement as a positive example of SDG 5: Gender Equality. She further praised the academy’s modern facilities, hygiene standards, teamwork, and innovative learning environment, supporting the principles of SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure.
The visit concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony symbolizing friendship and goodwill between Pakistan and Germany, reflecting the spirit of SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.

The Ambassador’s visit highlighted the potential of Pakistan’s young talent and the growing importance of vocational education in creating skilled professionals capable of competing at international standards.
