Culinary enthusiasts, home bakers and aspiring pastry professionals in Lahore are set to explore the art of French choux pastry as HoReCa Academy announces its upcoming specialized workshop, “Choux PRESTIGE,” scheduled for Saturday, October 17, 2026.
The two-hour intensive masterclass will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the academy’s campus in New Garden Town, Lahore, offering participants a hands-on opportunity to learn professional pastry techniques and prepare a selection of classic and contemporary choux-based creations.
The workshop has been designed around the delicate preparation of French choux pastry, a versatile pastry dough used in several well-known French desserts and savoury preparations. Participants will be guided through techniques involved in preparing, shaping and finishing different choux creations, with an emphasis on practical application and presentation.
The specialized menu will feature five signature preparations. These include a Rose Cream Puff, combining delicate pastry with floral-inspired flavours; Coffee Buttercream Chocolate Eclairs, offering a rich interpretation of the classic éclair; and Pastry Cream Croquembouche, a traditional French pastry tower associated with festive occasions.
Participants will also learn to prepare Paris-Brest, a ring-shaped choux pastry traditionally filled with praline cream, along with Savory Choux Bun & Eclairs, introducing a savoury interpretation of the versatile pastry dough.
The workshop aims to provide an accessible learning opportunity for individuals interested in strengthening their pastry skills. By combining professional techniques with hands-on practice, the session is expected to benefit both home bakers seeking to expand their repertoire and food professionals looking to enhance their technical knowledge.
