It’s time to welcome the world to Pakistan

As you all know that Pakistan has recently been named as the top holiday destination for travelers for the year 2020 by the United States-based luxury and lifestyle publication Conde Nast Traveler. This achievement is not sudden rather there is a long list of positive reviews of the tourists, travel bloggers and YouTube vloggers from across the world that grabbed the attention of the people towards the natural beauty and security situation in Pakistan. Earlier, there were concerns from serious circles relating to the tourism industry in the world about the security situation in Pakistan but due to the continuous struggle of the governments and security institutions peace has prevailed and now the beloved country has become the most favourite place to visit in 2020 according to one of the world’s best travel magazines. Outlining the adventure tourism potential in the country, the magazine has written: “Pakistan has more peaks taller than 22,965ft than China and Nepal combined, making it an almost magnetic spot for adventure travellers and intrepid hikers.” The magazine has also mentioned the recent visit of Britain’s Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the measures taken by the government including relaxed visa restrictions.

It would not be wrong to say that the world is waking up to the enormous tourism potential Pakistan has, and with a government willing to invest in the sector to boost economic growth, the year 2020 could be pivotal in shaping the tourism industry of the country. With these developments, it is very much expected that a large number of travellers and tourists would be spending time in Pakistan in the coming days and we should be all set to represent our country for the sake of its image and repute.
