To assist and direct visitors, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Cultural and Tourism Authority (KPCTA) has placed various signboards on the roads leading to well-known tourist destinations like Chakdara, Timergara, Khazana Bypass Dir Lower, Panah Kot Chitral road Upper Dir, Swat, Kalam, Malam Jabba, Miandam Picnic Spot, Shangla Top, and Gabeen Jabba.

The signs have been set up for the first time and demonstrate the KPCTA’s dedication and professional approach to directing tourists and advancing Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s tourism industry. For the convenience of visitors, signboards list the tourist helpline number, 1422. Information about the weather, well-known tourist attractions, traffic, and the KPCTA emergency centre is readily available to visitors.

In order to promote the tourism industry, according to KPCTA Director General Bakhtiar Khan, it is essential to make travelling easier for guests. The installation of the boards was done with this goal in mind. He said that the 1422 helpline would be available 24 hours a day to give tourists information on the weather, road conditions, emergencies, snowfall, patrol availability, and other guidelines.
