Renowned journalist and media personality Mujeeb-ur-Rehman Shami has commended the contributions of College of Tourism & Hotel Management (COTHM) Founder/President and CEO Ahmad Shafiq for his pivotal role in shaping Pakistan’s hospitality and culinary industry. Speaking during a recent television program, Shami highlighted the remarkable impact Ahmad Shafiq has made in producing a skilled workforce for Pakistan and urged the government to acknowledge his services at a national level.
In his talk, Shami called upon Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz to recognize the efforts of Ahmad Shafiq and similar visionary leaders who are dedicated to national development. He noted that under Ahmad Shafiq’s leadership, COTHM has trained over 50,000 professionals, many of whom have successfully entered the workforce or started their own businesses around the world. Shami further praised COTHM for its efforts in promoting Pakistani cuisine globally, stating that COTHM’s graduates are now ambassadors of Pakistan’s rich culinary heritage.
