PIA reduces fare to Northern areas

HP Newsroom

As the weather becomes cold particularly in the north, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced several flights to renowned tourist spots in Gilgit-Baltistan (GB), Gilgit and Skardu.

The national flag carrier announced on Twitter that it has begun 14 weekly flights to Gilgit and five weekly flights to Skardu, both at extraordinarily low fares—as little as Rs. 20,000 for a round-trip ticket.

Additionally, PIA announced that customers who book hotels through the company’s website might receive discounts of up to 25%. Keep in mind that customers can make reservations on the aforementioned website and obtain additional information by calling 111-786-786. The action will influence other airlines in the country and enhance tourism to the country’s northern regions.

After Khawaja Saad Rafique, the aviation minister, instructed the PIA’s CEO, CCO, CHRO, and CFO to create special price packages for Skardu, Gilgit, and Chitral, the airline issued this encouraging news.
