A three-day tourist expo that aims to increase the country’s travel industry business has begun here on Thursday in Bangladesh. Bangladesh International Travel and Bangladesh Tourism Expo was put on by the Association of Travel Agents of Bangladesh (ATAB) in the Bangabandhu International Conference Center, also known as the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Center.
The Bangladesh Tourism expo was opened by Bangladesh’s Minister of Civil Aviation and Tourism, Md. Mahbub Ali.
In order to draw in more tourists from abroad, Bangladesh has undergone a significant infrastructural transformation in recent years, according to ATAB President SN Manzur Murshed. For the growth of cross-border tourism in this area, proper branding of the local places and heritage is a must, he said.
