Nestlé trains future generation of culinary artists

YOCUTA (Young Culinary Talent) is an exclusive programme by Nestlé Professionals to support the young chefs by comprehensively involving them in professional & life skills training, and expert coaching to help them build meaningful careers in the foodservice industry.

YOCUTA 2022 was held at College of Tourism & Hotel Management (COTHM) where 42 culinary arts students from COTHM were trained by Nestlé Advisory Chef Hira Laique. In the five-day program, the students were trained about food preparation, quality management, nutrition sciences, digital marketing, and finance handling both theoretically and practically. During the session, the students had the opportunity to learn about Nestle products and their applications while gaining the understanding of nutrition, health and wellness. The programme also included exciting competitions and recognition to the best young chefs.

On the last day, Nestle Pakistan Business Executive Officer Samer Shahid, Nestle Professional Business Executive Officer Nausheen Jaffery and Nestle Professionals Brand Manager (Food) Daniyal Shahid also joined the event and distributed certificates and gifts among the participants.
