IBA Karachi alumnus Sabir Sami becomes KFC Division CEO

Institute of Business Administration Karachi alumnus from the class of 1988 Sabir Sami has been promoted to the post of KFC Division CEO. He was earlier working as KFC Division Global COO and managing director of KFC Asia. He will take the charge from JAANUARY 1, 2022 after the retirement of current KFC CEO Tony Lowings.

According to the details, the announcement about the promotion of IBA Karachi alumnus Sabir Sami came from the Yum Brands on Wednesday. Sami is associated with the Yum Brands for last 12 years and has served on different important positions including General Manager of KFC restaurants in the Middle East and North Africa.

Yum Brands CEO David Gibbs has said in a statement that Sabir has got wonderful leadership skills coupled with the knowledge of our brand.

In his new role, Sami will working on the development of the brand strategy and performance of KFC around the world.

IBA Karachi alumnus Sabir Sami, in statement, has said that he is anxious to go on working with the KFC leaders and franchise partners around the globe.
