Pakistan’s tourism sector is on a remarkable upward trajectory, fueled by the strategic initiatives of Green Tourism Pakistan. Last year alone, the country welcomed over 1 million international tourists, representing an 820% increase over previous years—a clear sign of Pakistan’s growing appeal on the global travel map.
The breathtaking landscapes of Gilgit-Baltistan have earned international acclaim, with top media outlets such as BBC and CNN recognizing it among the world’s 25 must-visit destinations. Simplified visa procedures for citizens of 126 countries, along with the launch of the E-Tourism portal “Tourism on the Palm”, have further streamlined travel and made exploring Pakistan easier than ever.
Supporting this surge in tourism, Green Pak Hotels and Resorts has successfully completed 17 hospitality projects over the past two years. The company plans to expand further, opening 10 new hotels and resorts in prime locations including Gadani, Sonmiani, and Hunza, aiming to provide world-class accommodations for the growing influx of travelers.
With these initiatives, Pakistan is not only attracting tourists but also positioning itself as a global destination for adventure, culture, and luxury travel, signaling a new era of sustainable growth in the country’s tourism industry.
