In a major development for travel and aviation education in Pakistan, COTHM Global has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sabre Pakistan, officially becoming an Authorized Training Partner of SABRE, one of the world’s leading travel technology platforms.
The partnership marks a significant milestone in strengthening industry-academia collaboration and equipping students with globally recognized skills in travel technology, airline reservations, and digital tourism solutions.
Under the agreement, Sabre Global Distribution System (GDS) and advanced travel technology solutions will be integrated across COTHM’s nationwide campus network. This initiative will provide students with hands-on experience and practical training on industry-standard platforms widely used by airlines, travel agencies, and tourism organizations worldwide.
The collaboration is expected to enhance educational standards in travel, tourism, aviation, and airline management while preparing students for the rapidly evolving digital landscape of the global travel industry. It also reflects a shared commitment to promoting innovation in emerging fields such as Travel Tech, New Distribution Capability (NDC), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and digital transformation within tourism and aviation.
The Memorandum of Understanding was formally signed by Mr. Shiraz Shahid, Station Manager Lahore, Sabre Pakistan, and Mr. Ahmad Shafiq, CEO of COTHM Global, in the presence of representatives from both organizations.
Special appreciation was extended to Mr. Mohsin, Country Director of Sabre Pakistan, for his vision, leadership, and continued support in advancing travel technology education and professional development opportunities for Pakistani youth.
