ACP Mountaineers Meet President Alvi

 

A delegation of Mountaineers met President and Alpine Club of Pakistan in a meeting held at Aiwan-e-Sadr Islamabad. The President appreciated the achievements of young mountaineers Mr. Shehroze Kashif, the youngest mountaineer of the world who climbed K-2 and also 5 peaks above 8000-M and Mr. Sirbaz Khan who climbed 21 peaks above 8000-M. The third mountaineer was Abdul Joshi who has climbed Mount Everest and other two peaks above 8000-M, besides rescuing foreigners from high mountains. President stressed the need to engage marketing experts for resource generation not only for further projects but to develop a career path for their sustainability. He also advised mountaineers to equip themselves with digital and effective writing and communication skills to highlight their achievements to attract sponsors as well. Secretary, IPC Ahmed Hanif Orakzai, Col R Asif Zaman, DG PSB assured the mountaineers for their support to translate their dreams into reality. Abu Zadar Sadiq, President, Karrar Haideri, Secretary Alpine Club of Pakistan, Waqar Ahmed, Secretary to President, Asif Ali Alvi, Direct General, Adil Ansari Media Consultant (P) were also present at this occasion.
