COTHM and BITO Join Forces to Expand Internship and Career Opportunities for Students

The College of Tourism and Hotel Management (COTHM) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with BITO, reinforcing its commitment to enhancing student employability and strengthening connections between academia and industry.

The strategic partnership marks another important milestone in COTHM’s ongoing efforts to create meaningful career pathways for students by providing access to internships, professional training, industry engagement, and future job placement opportunities.

Through this collaboration, COTHM’s Department of Employability and Career Services and BITO will work closely to equip students with practical skills, workplace experience, and industry insights that are essential for success in today’s competitive professional environment. The initiative aims to ensure that graduates are not only academically qualified but also industry-ready and capable of meeting evolving workforce demands.

The partnership reflects a shared vision of developing a highly skilled and competent workforce by bridging the gap between classroom learning and real-world industry requirements. Students will benefit from increased exposure to professional environments, career mentoring opportunities, and hands-on learning experiences that support long-term career growth.

Representatives from both organizations emphasized the importance of collaboration between educational institutions and industry stakeholders in preparing future professionals for successful careers. They noted that such partnerships play a vital role in fostering innovation, enhancing employability, and supporting economic development through talent cultivation.
