COTHM and Diet Studio celebrate World Food Day
College of Tourism and Hotel Management (COTHM) Lahore celebrated world food day which marks on October 16 every year.
On the occasion, Chiltan Pure; a renowned organic food brand, CEO Najam Mazari visited COTHM and appreciated the services provided by COTHM’s sister organization “Diet Studio”.
During his interaction with students, Mazari highlighted the importance of entrepreneurship and gave students valuable tips for food brand creation. Highlighting the importance of brand creation, he said, “Never compromise on quality and work on value addition to the product. Your brand must be revenue generating for you and the company.”
Adding value to the product will increase its price but people will happily prefer a costly product over a low quality product, Mazari further said adding that instead of providing adulterated product to the customer, good quality product should be given.
On the day, a quiz competition was also held among the participants observing World Food Day. Winners of the competition were awarded with gifts from Chiltan Pure.
Mazari also appreciated the services provided by Diet Studio and facilities at COTHM. He said, “COTHM is making students skilled in culinary, baking, tourism, aviation and hospitality sectors. Students after their graduation from COTHM can launch their own food brand and run it successfully.”
