NADRA Announces Procedure for Children’s Juvenile Cards

NADRA Announces Procedure for Children’s Juvenile Cards

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has announced the official procedure for parents and legal guardians to apply for Juvenile Cards for children below the eligible age for a Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC), making the registration process more accessible and streamlined.

According to NADRA, parents or legal guardians must accompany the child to a NADRA Registration Centre and provide the required supporting documents during the application process. The Juvenile Card serves as an official identity document for children and facilitates access to various public and private services.

Officials stated that applicants are required to present valid identification documents, while legal guardians may also need to provide supporting documentation verifying their guardianship, where applicable. Biometric verification and other registration requirements will be completed in accordance with NADRA’s established procedures.

The authority emphasized the importance of registering children at an early age, noting that the Juvenile Card helps establish a secure legal identity and supports access to education, healthcare, financial services, and other government facilities.

NADRA has encouraged parents and guardians to visit their nearest Registration Centre or consult official NADRA channels for complete information regarding eligibility requirements, documentation, processing fees, and application procedures.

The updated guidelines are part of NADRA’s ongoing efforts to improve citizen registration services through greater efficiency, transparency, and easier access to identity documentation across Pakistan.
