The Chefs Association of Pakistan (CAP) proudly supported Nestlé ProChef 2026, bringing together more than 100 professional chefs from renowned restaurants, cafés, and hotels for an engaging platform focused on culinary networking, knowledge sharing, professional interaction, and industry collaboration.

The event provided an opportunity for leading culinary professionals to connect, exchange ideas, explore emerging practices, and strengthen professional relationships within Pakistan’s growing hospitality and foodservice sector.
A key highlight of Nestlé ProChef 2026 was the range of practical and interactive activities presented throughout the gathering. The event featured live cooking sessions, product displays, demonstrations, and professional discussions focused on Nestlé Professional products and their applications within the hospitality industry. These activities enabled participating chefs to explore practical applications while exchanging experiences and ideas with fellow professionals.

The gathering also featured distinguished personalities from Pakistan’s culinary and hospitality industry. Among the notable guests were Mr. Basim Akhund, Restaurant Consultant and Chef at Klap Restaurant and Akhund Consultants, and Mr. Ali Rehman, renowned Food Critic and TEDx Speaker. Their presence added valuable industry perspectives and contributed to the event’s networking and knowledge-sharing environment.

An important moment of the event was the presentation of honorary plaques to prominent figures in recognition of their valuable contributions and support to Pakistan’s hospitality and culinary industry.

The honorees included Mr. Nisar Chaudhry, Co-Founder, Partner and Executive Director of Yum Group of Restaurants and President of Lahore Restaurant Association (LRA); Mr. Ahmad Shafiq, Founder and CEO of COTHM; Mr. Bastien Blanc, CEO of PC Hospitality; and Ms. Salma Butt, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Punjab.

The recognition highlighted the important role played by industry leaders and stakeholders in strengthening professional standards, supporting culinary development, and contributing to the growth of Pakistan’s hospitality sector.

The participation of more than 100 chefs also reflected the importance of professional networking platforms in creating stronger connections across restaurants, cafés, hotels, culinary institutions, and foodservice businesses.
