Pakistan Railways Announces Three Special Eid-ul-Azha Trains to Facilitate Travelers

The Pakistan Railways has announced the operation of three special trains ahead of Eid-ul-Azha to facilitate passengers traveling to their hometowns across the country.

According to the schedule, the first special Eid train will depart from Quetta Railway Station for Rawalpindi on Sunday. The second special train will also depart on the same day from Karachi City Station, heading towards Rawalpindi.

The third special Eid train will operate from Karachi Cantt Railway Station to Lahore on the 25th of this month, providing additional travel convenience during the busy festive season.

The special trains will pass through major stations including Rohri, Khanpur, Multan, Sahiwal, Lahore, Faisalabad, Sargodha, Jhelum, and other key stops along their routes, ensuring accessibility for passengers from multiple regions.

Officials stated that the initiative aims to ease travel pressure, manage increased passenger demand, and provide safer and more comfortable transportation services during Eid-ul-Azha.

The move is part of Pakistan Railways’ ongoing efforts to improve passenger facilitation during major holidays and ensure smooth nationwide connectivity.
