LAHORE – The Punjab Education Curriculum Training and Assessment Authority( PECTA) has introduced a single math book for the students of the 9th grade of Arts and Science Group, PECTA official sources told APP that now in the ninth grade, students of the arts group will also read the same math book as the students of the science group. In the ninth grade, the students of the arts group will also read the same math book as the students of the science group. PECTA, in this connection, has issued instructions to all schools regarding the same math book in the ninth grade. It is worth mentioning here that the general science book of the ninth arts group has also been discontinued. PECTA sources said that there is no truth in the news of teaching general math in the ninth grade. Furthermore, education experts say that the new math syllabus is easy and has been kept short for the students in the arts group.
