At the soft launch of Pakistani Cuisine Day on August 29, 2025, a special balloons releasing ceremony was held to symbolize unity, celebration, and the spirit of culinary diplomacy. A large number of chefs and culinary arts students joined the ceremony to show their respect and love for their national cuisine.
The ceremony was also joined by the distinguished guests including Ahmad Shafiq, Founder/President & CEO COTHM Pakistan, & COTHM Global – UK, Dr. Rick Stephen, Vice President, Worldchefs, Mel Nathan, Founder, Executive Chefs Club, Australia, and Chef Mohammad Raees from the USA, who supervised the overall activity. Adding international cultural flavour, the Iranian Chef Delegation also actively participated in the balloon release:

The colorful release created a vibrant and memorable moment, signifying the official beginning of Pakistani Cuisine Day by COTHM, which will now be celebrated every year on 20th of November. This symbolic gesture highlighted the spirit of partnership, cultural pride, and the shared commitment of Pakistan, Iran, and the international culinary fraternity to promote food heritage across the globe.
