Pakistan has secured the hosting rights for the Worldchefs Asia Presidents Forum 2026 after a competitive election held at the Worldchefs Presidents Forum 2025 in Suzhou, China. Pakistan won the bid with 13 out of 21 votes, defeating Malaysia in a closely fought contest. The upcoming forum will be held in Islamabad and Lahore in October 2026, marking the first time Pakistan will host this prestigious regional gathering.

This achievement is widely credited to the sustained efforts of Ahmad Shafiq, Founder and President of the Chefs’ Association of Pakistan, whose consistent representation and diplomacy at global platforms have helped project a positive and professional image of Pakistan’s hospitality and culinary sector.
