Pakistan Wins Bid to Host Worldchefs Asia Presidents Forum 2026 After Close Election in Suzhou — A Milestone for Pakistan’s Culinary Image

Pakistan has secured the hosting rights for the Worldchefs Asia Presidents Forum 2026 after a competitive election held at the Worldchefs Presidents Forum 2025 in Suzhou, China. Pakistan won the bid with 13 out of 21 votes, defeating Malaysia in a closely fought contest. The upcoming forum will be held in Islamabad and Lahore in October 2026, marking the first time Pakistan will host this prestigious regional gathering.

This achievement is widely credited to the sustained efforts of Ahmad Shafiq, Founder and President of the Chefs’ Association of Pakistan, whose consistent representation and diplomacy at global platforms have helped project a positive and professional image of Pakistan’s hospitality and culinary sector. His work has been instrumental in strengthening Pakistan’s presence in Worldchefs and gaining international trust and recognition.

The victory is being celebrated as a proud national moment, affirming that the world is acknowledging Pakistan’s culinary talent, hospitality potential, and its readiness to host world-class events. This milestone not only elevates Pakistan on the international culinary map but also reinforces the country’s commitment to cultural exchange and culinary excellence.
