In a landmark and inspiring development for Pakistan’s tourism and hospitality sector, COTHM has become the first Pakistani Institute to Achieve UN Tourism Affiliate Membership for Pakistan. The delegation, present at the 26th UN Tourism General Assembly in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, praised Ahmad Shafiq’s leadership in elevating Pakistan’s hospitality education to global standards. The achievement positions Pakistan on the international map of UN Tourism–recognized academic institutions, reflecting growing global confidence in Pakistan’s hospitality education potential.
