COTHM Reinforces Industry Linkages with NAS Airline to Support Aviation Talent Development

Continuing its efforts to actively endorse and strengthen Pakistan’s aviation industry, the College of Tourism and Hotel Management (COTHM) held a productive meeting with NAS Airline in Lahore. Mr. Kashif Zia, Senior Manager Training, Development, and Industry Liaison at COTHM IATA Authorized Training Center, Lahore, met with Mr. Umer Khwaja to explore collaborative initiatives aimed at developing skilled and industry-ready aviation professionals.

The discussion centered on organizing targeted soft skills training programs designed to meet airline industry standards, as well as identifying potential job placement opportunities for COTHM students. Both sides highlighted the importance of combining academic instruction with structured on-the-job training to ensure graduates are well prepared for the operational and service demands of the aviation sector.

This engagement reflects COTHM’s ongoing commitment to building strong academia-industry partnerships and contributing to the sustainable growth of the aviation industry by nurturing competent, confident, and career-ready talent.
