The Lahore Chapter of the Chefs’ Association of Pakistan (CAP) successfully held its General Body Meeting, bringing together culinary professionals for a productive and forward-looking session focused on unity, growth, and the future direction of Pakistan’s chefs’ community.

The meeting was organized under the leadership of Mr. Ahmad Shafiq, President, Chefs’ Association of Pakistan (Lahore Chapter), along with Mian Shahid Mahmood, General Secretary, CAP. The session served as a key platform for members to connect, exchange ideas, and discuss strategic initiatives aimed at strengthening professional standards, expanding opportunities, and promoting Pakistan’s culinary identity.

A major highlight of the gathering was the presentation of CAP’s roadmap for 2026. President Ahmad Shafiq shared upcoming initiatives planned for the coming year, including professional development programs, national and international culinary engagements, chef capacity-building projects, youth-focused activities, and events designed to further elevate the role of Pakistani chefs at home and abroad.

Addressing the participants, Ahmad Shafiq praised the collective efforts of the CAP team and encouraged continued collaboration.

“The future of Pakistani chefs is extremely bright. Our 2026 initiatives are focused on growth, global exposure, and unity within our community. I am proud of the dedication shown by our team, and I sincerely wish every member success as we work together to take the Chefs’ Association of Pakistan to new heights,” he said.

Special appreciation was extended to Chef Tipu Imran, Vice President, Lahore Chapter, and Chef Hassan, Secretary, Lahore Chapter, for their commitment and organizational efforts in making the meeting impactful and well-coordinated.

Participants actively contributed to discussions on upcoming programs, skill enhancement initiatives, and long-term goals for the association. The meeting concluded with a strong note of optimism, team spirit, and collective resolve to advance the professional standing of Pakistani chefs.
