The College of Tourism & Hotel Management (COTHM) Pakistan has successfully conducted the Highfield Level 4 International Award in HACCP Management for Catering, a prestigious internationally recognized food safety qualification designed to strengthen professional competencies in food safety management and HACCP implementation.
The comprehensive four-day online training programme, held from 29 July to 1 August 2026, brought together chefs, food safety managers, quality assurance professionals, and hospitality industry experts seeking to enhance their expertise in internationally accepted food safety systems.
Delivered by experienced food safety professionals, the programme provided in-depth training on the seven principles of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), enabling participants to understand, implement, monitor, and manage effective food safety systems within catering and hospitality operations.
Throughout the programme, participants explored advanced topics including hazard identification, risk assessment, critical control points (CCPs), monitoring procedures, corrective actions, verification, validation, documentation, and compliance with international food safety standards. Practical case studies and real-world industry scenarios further strengthened participants’ ability to apply HACCP principles in professional environments.
